 For this weeks project I have looked at tutorials on how to make a main menu and how to add inventory I feel like this week Unity has just gone against me for everything for some reason when I try to make a panel for the main menu and inventory it will not let me add images to the panel which is a big part of the main menu and inventory so I could not complete this but I have found a main menu tutorial that Jimmy Vegas has done which I have not tried yet because I have spent a lot of time trying to solve some of these problems but could not fix it so hopefully the Jimmy Vegas tutorial on main menus works on my Unity.

I have also tried to add some dialogue to my game but for some reason in the c script it was giving me an error and anytime I fixed it the error came back up so the dialogue was also not working great so you could say I haven't had the best of luck with my Unity today hopefully someone in the year can help me solve this problem so I can continue creating and adding more aspects to my prototype.

    Hello there Jennifer,

    It is great to see that you are making a lot of good progress on your great game. It can be very annoying when what you want to add into your game wont work. I had this problem myself as I was unable to add in the coding for my game which has set me back a good bit but I feel like I will be able to complete them when I get to college as it will not work on my laptop. I love the idea of adding in a inventory to your game, I think that is a great idea as it will look very professional on your game. Do you think you will be able to get the inventory into your game? I am sure if you look on youtube for a while then you will come across a tutorial and that will help you get it into your game.

    Hi Jennifer,

    Great work with your game development, your alpha is looking really well! You've just reminded me of a main menu, which I seem to have completely forgotten to include in my game. I've nearly completed my game so hopefully, I can add the main menu into the game in time. Thanks a lot for reminding me!

Favorite game

Mario kart  One of my favorite games would have to be Mario kart I have played Mario kart for years and I am still in love with the game. Mario kart is a racing game developed by Nintendo who have also developed the game super Mario another one of my favorite games. Mario kart- Wikipedia In the game Mario kart you can compete with up to 12 players and have a selection of different race tracks and a selection of different players and karts my favorite race track would have to be Bowser's castle and my favorite player would have to be princess peach or Mario. Growth mindset

Growth minds et I have never heard of Carol Dweck before this module but after listening to her Ted talk and her other videos I feel like she is very inspiring but I have heard of a growth mindset before in secondary school and how to expand our mindset. I feel like overall I have a growth mindset and I am open to learning from my mistakes and I am open to learn new things. Since I have started at TU Dublin I feel like my mindset has grown even more because I got to learn so many new things from different modules and from the people in the course and I feel like I have processed it all well one of my biggest challenges was trying to get all my work done for college even though I loved learning new things while also trying to balance a social life.
