Game brainstorm

 My first game that I am interested in would have to be super Mario I am interested in this game because I feel like the graphics are so simple but are so good and the story line is well developed which is why it is still such a popular game. I also like this game because it is suitable for many ages and it will just never get old and is such a fun and simple game. Super Mario was first released on the 13th of September 1985 and it is a series of platform games created by Nintendo super Mario is a game with many levels with different styles of levels the point of these levels are to save princess peach.

The second game I am interested in is Mario kart which is a spin off from its original series super Mario I am interested in this game because I feel like it is such an interesting game and is great fun for all the family it also has great graphics I also like it because you can pick and chose whatever you want to be. Mario kart was released on the 27th of august 1992 by Nintendo, In the game Mario kart you can compete with up to 12 players and have a selection of different race tracks and a selection of different players there is also 4 tracks in each cup this is were players compete to try to win each cup.

The third game I am interested in is animal crossing because the game has such a wide variety of things to do and you can create your own home and character the way you want to so you can be as creative as you want I also like this game because you can play it at any age and it will still be fun.
Animal crossing was released by Nintendo on the 14th of April in 2001 in animal crossing the player is a human who lives in a village with different animals carrying out various activities including fishing, bug catching, fossil hunting etc.

The fourth game I am interested in is Minecraft I am interested in this game because you can build whatever you want and also you can be creative which I like and it is also a game for all ages. This game was released on the 18th of November in 2011 by Mojang the game allows players to build with a variety of different block in a 3D world other activities in the game include exploring, resource gathering, crafting and combat there are also different game modes such as creative and survival mode.

I would like to learn more about how these games were made and since most of the games I picked are Nintendo I would also like to learn more about the company and how they come up with story lines for their games. I would like to create a game were you can be creative and build stuff in the world and where the character can play with other players or another game idea would be to create a racing game.

Reading 10

This week I have finally finished my topics I have over 2,000 for my chapters my game design process has more words than my visual and audio elements but not by much I have learned a lot from writing these topics and have definitely improved my writing skills a lot, I have also learned a lot on each of my topics. Overall I feel like my topics are decent and that I have wrote some good information on both of them. I am really glad that I have finished and it is a huge weight of my shoulders I just have to do my reflection work. I feel like this week we have done a lot on fixing up the writing on most of the chapters which is really good and I feel like everyone has done good work overall. Unity tutorial 03

Unity tutorial 03 I have learned a lot from this unity tutorial I have learned how to create a clock from objects such as cubes and cylinders and how to position, scale and rotate them in the right positions which I found really helpful. I also learned how to create materials to add to the objects to add color and how to use a mesh collider component I also learned what is a child object and a parent object. The most important part of this tutorial would have to be the c# script it taught me how to get objects to move by using class and transform I found this very interesting but it was hard it did not work for me at first but I finally got it to work after a while I might not use anything I learned in this tutorial but it was good to learn new things about unity I might use some of the information I learned from the tutorial about c# script in my game. I am looking forward to start creating my game and all the information I have learned so far in unity and making my game look as goo...

Growth mindset

Growth minds et I have never heard of Carol Dweck before this module but after listening to her Ted talk and her other videos I feel like she is very inspiring but I have heard of a growth mindset before in secondary school and how to expand our mindset. I feel like overall I have a growth mindset and I am open to learning from my mistakes and I am open to learn new things. Since I have started at TU Dublin I feel like my mindset has grown even more because I got to learn so many new things from different modules and from the people in the course and I feel like I have processed it all well one of my biggest challenges was trying to get all my work done for college even though I loved learning new things while also trying to balance a social life.
