Favorite game

Mario kart 

One of my favorite games would have to be Mario kart I have played Mario kart for years and I am still in love with the game. Mario kart is a racing game developed by Nintendo who have also developed the game super Mario another one of my favorite games.

In the game Mario kart you can compete with up to 12 players and have a selection of different race tracks and a selection of different players and karts my favorite race track would have to be Bowser's castle and my favorite player would have to be princess peach or Mario. There are also 4 tracks in each cup for example mushroom cup(one of the easiest levels/cup) has 4 tracks called Luigi circuit, moo moo meadows, toads factory and mushroom gorge.

I usually play Mario kart on the Wii but I used to also play it on my Nintendo dsi in the game on the race tracks there is also a variation of power ups contained in item boxes that you have to drive through some of the items in the box can help slow down your opponents such as a banana peel or shell and other items help speed you up such as mushrooms or a launch cannon.

I chose Mario kart as my favorite game because I feel like it is a very interesting and fun game and I could play it for hours and not get bored and I have played it since I was young and I am still in love with the game and I feel like it will never get old.

Growth mindset

Growth minds et I have never heard of Carol Dweck before this module but after listening to her Ted talk and her other videos I feel like she is very inspiring but I have heard of a growth mindset before in secondary school and how to expand our mindset. I feel like overall I have a growth mindset and I am open to learning from my mistakes and I am open to learn new things. Since I have started at TU Dublin I feel like my mindset has grown even more because I got to learn so many new things from different modules and from the people in the course and I feel like I have processed it all well one of my biggest challenges was trying to get all my work done for college even though I loved learning new things while also trying to balance a social life.
