Class assignments

Class assignments

 The assignments that I am most intrigued by would have to be Unity 3D because I am interested in learning how games are made and I am excited to create my own game and create a story for the game and to add the graphics that I like to the game. Even though I do not play a lot of games myself personally I do play some games and do always wonder how they are made and how they create all the graphics in the games.

I am also interested in project feedback I do always like to hear how other people feel about my projects and I do like to hear on how I can improve on somethings so that I can get better at it I do also like to give good feedback to other peoples projects and to give advice on how they can also make their projects better if necessary.

This module is unlike any other module because you have extra credit options which none of the other modules have it also focuses on time management and a growth mindset which I think is really good and helpful and other modules do not do this the labs and lectures are also optional but you do have to go to at least 3 in the semester which I think is also good so you can get your work done.

I also really like that there is extra credit options available because most modules do not have this option so if you fall behind you can get extra credit points to help your grades or even if you just want to get ahead it can help you get a higher grade in the module. I do like most of the extra credit options which are tech task which is learning about different web based technology which I find interesting, Wikipedia trials which is that you start with something from class that grabs your attention and then follow that link in that article another and you keep going and see where you end up which I think is fun and interesting there is also growth and H.E.A.R.T these are both related to help your state of mind which I think is good because not many modules do that type of thing.

I feel like this module is going to be interesting and I am excited to learn about game development and to create my own game I am interested in the other class tasks as well which are readings, blog comments and project work but the other ones that I have mentioned above intrigue me more than the others.

Mario kart  One of my favorite games would have to be Mario kart I have played Mario kart for years and I am still in love with the game. Growth mindset

Growth minds et I have never heard of Carol Dweck before this module but after listening to her Ted talk and her other videos I feel like she is very inspiring but I have heard of a growth mindset before in secondary school and how to expand our mindset. I feel like overall I have a growth mindset and I am open to learning from my mistakes and I am open to learn new things. Since I have started at TU Dublin I feel like my mindset has grown even more because I got to learn so many new things from different modules and from the people in the course and I feel like I have processed it all well one of my biggest challenges was trying to get all my work done for college even though I loved learning new things while also trying to balance a social life. I feel like I would definitely be interested in learning more about growth mindsets in this semester as I feel like I would like to get a better understanding of a growth mindset. Technology tools

Technology tools I am looking forward to using all the technology tools for this course the ones I am most interested in would have to be image editing the apps we will be using for this are mac preview or Chromebook image editor and we will be learning how to use a basic image editor for cropping and resizing images I am also interested in graphic creation the apps we will be using for this are canvas, cheezburger, automotivator, padlet, Unity 3D, word press and Graphics creation the app I am most excited to use would have to be Unity 3D because I am excited to create my own game and to learn how games are created.
